Urban insertion of mass transit systems
This includes the insertion of urban mobility network (tramway lines and busways, bike lanes and pedestrian paths) in order to improve communication, efficiency and comfort.
The urban space being restricted, a better urban and landscape integration of transport modes as well as a good hierarchy of uses will allow their cohabitation.
Interchange stations integrating whole modes
This includes multimodal exchange centers, spaces for urban interchange and train stations (amongst others).
They are spaces of network combination which facilitate the change of transport mode and favor an alternative to the exclusive use of car. They become real living areas which are similar to urban center new gates.
Urban revitalization around train stations
That includes station districts as areas of urban intensification and development of new centers thanks to their accessibility and their potential for densification.
Today they are strategic areas with 2 main focuses: as city gates with associated mobility services, and as districts through urban renewal.
Urban planning
By necessity, urban development is more and more located on mutation areas, raising questions of constraints linked to preexisting usages (floor pollution, networks, redundant buildings, etc.) and to their relative isolation (infrastructure cuts, noises, flood plains etc.).
Urban renovation can transform constraints into advantages and bring out singularities and assets in urban districts forgotten or left out.
Release and confrontation of ideas
This includes all of singular spaces offered where we present with enthusiasm our experience, our projects, our know how, but as well good practice with others (conferences, workshops, seminars, site visits, theme travels …).
We need to be confronted to ground reality and we like sharing as site visits, theme travels.
We appreciate real dialogue in live with elected representatives, technicians and/or inhabitants, in the form of seminars of urban workshops.
